• Performing daily facility cleaning, assigning tasks, and evaluating the cleaning of the custodial team
• Assisting in interviewing and hiring custodial team
• Assisting in ordering and taking inventory of all janitorial equipment and supplies
• Motivate and correct performance/discipline of custodial staff
• Employee scheduling, training and assisting in facilitating meetings
• Preparation of facility for programs, meetings, events and rentals
• Enforcing all safety procedures, maintain safety data sheet and OSHA compliance
• Working nights and weekends is required
• Performing all other duties as assigned

This work requires physical exertion in handling supplies, equipment and materials that are relative to the services rendered. Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and twisting are required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on each leg of a repetitive unloading and reloading process. Activities involving risks which are typically associated with athletic, recreational and facility rental events. Normal safety precautions typical of these areas of services are required. Exposure to power equipment, indoor cleaning agents/solutions and various hand tools will be required.

• High school degree or equivalent
• One year of leadership experience in the custodial field
• Previous management experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in basic custodial equipment, supplies
• Floor care experience
• SDS and OSHA knowledge
• Basic computer skills
• Flexible schedule
