Five Points Nursing and Rehabilitation of College Station is Hiring a Staffing Coordinator - CNA or LVN Near College Station, TX

We’re seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance are extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions of this job.

Required Skills/Licensure:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nurse in TX (B.S. Preferred)
  • Long- Term care experience with nurse education background;
  • Excellent organizational, detail, and communication skills;
  • Genuine caring and concern for residents and staff;
  • Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below;
  • Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and handicapped people;
  • Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities;
  • Ability to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures;
  • Ability to read and write the English language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct in-house CNA training or coordinates CNA training outside of facility;
  • Reads, understands, trains, and practices Company’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures and state and federal laws;
  • Maintain personnel files;
  • Coordinate and conduct New Hire Orientation with employee follow-up;
  • Recruit qualified staff;
  • Coordinate and perform in service education, including Nursing Assistant Certification and CPR;
  • May temporarily assume duties of Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Staff Nurse as required;
  • Monitor, through daily rounds, staff performance to identify in service needs.
