Essential Functions:

Responsibilities –

• Continual active patrol (walking) has assigned areas: ensuring all company property is patrolled for overall asset protection and optimum Guest and Team Member protection and safety.
• Continual patrol of the premises to prevent theft, violence or infractions of the company rules always observant of suspicious activities or persons.
• Completes detailed reports regarding incidents of theft, property damage, property loss, injury, or other matters affecting Fitzgeralds.
• Reports any and all suspicious activities or persons to their immediate supervisor.
• Assist in enforcing county, state, and federal laws and regulations when applicable.
• Ensures effective and professional interface with all public service officials as well as representatives from other casinos.
• Identifies all possible safety hazards and standing by said hazard until it is removed.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the Fitzgeralds Emergency Action Guide, in order to efficiently handle fires, floods, robberies, bomb threats, etc, in a professional calm manner that will not panic Guests or Team Members.
• Assist Guests and Team Members in the completion of statements connected with incident reports.
• Ensures that all support duties and responsibilities to all departments are carried out in an efficient and timely manner and that immediate action is taken on any situation which might be illegal, life threatening or otherwise extraordinary.
• Completes pit fills/credits. Completes table drops
• Assist in performing CPR/ AED and basic first aid
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience working in casino or hotel security preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership /motivation skills.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Knowledge in various computer programs particularly Microsoft Word preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit
• Knowledge of gaming regulations.
• CPR/AED certification or must obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 or older
