Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at FitOn, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of fitness and health technology. Leveraging your expertise in C# and Azure, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our suite of digital products and services. By designing scalable backend systems, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge solutions that inspire and motivate our users to achieve their wellness goals.

Responsibilities 

• Take ownership and leadership of specific services or components within our software ecosystem, driving their development, enhancement, and success.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and develop software solutions that align with our vision and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using C# and Azure technologies.
• Architect cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and advocate for best practices in software development and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information / Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C# .NET and Azure.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Devops).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• This is a 100% remote position, open to U.S. based applicants only.

Additional qualifications

• Passionate about health and fitness
• A track record of shipping incredible products, and an understanding of what details matter at each stage of the product delivery cycle
• Experience with experimentation, shipping, measuring and improving product updates based on both quantitative and qualitative feedback
• Be a collaborative teammate who can partner with different teams and functions.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud infrastructure
