As an Industrial Designer, you will work on a range of programs on many levels from being the lead designer on roadmap programs to developing advanced concepts that envision our future. In this role, you will partner with colleagues across Fitbit and beyond (e.g., User Experience/User experience Researchers, Engineering, Product Management, Research, and Product Marketing).

Partnering with Google will expand our resources and global platform, and we will be able to accelerate innovation in the wearables category to scale faster, and make health even more accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and lead design programs from early conception through production, taking responsibility for creative output, schedule, and maintaining design integrity from start to finish.
• Create presentation deliverables (e.g., research summaries, sketches, user scenarios, product renderings, and appearance models). Conduct research into design trends, consumer segments, and market competitors.
• Mentor and guide junior designers on the team.
• Represent the Design team in meetings, presentations to internal stakeholders, and keep design leadership apprised of program status and issues affecting the team.
• Work with and inspire members of the Product, Engineering, User Experience/User Experience Researchers, Product Marketing, and Research teams to execute on project goals.
