New Fit2Run Adventura, Florida store coming soon in May 2024

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Store Manager to build a team and to open our newest store coming to Adventura, Florida.

The Store Managers at Fit2Run should be passionate about helping our customers find the right shoes, apparel and accessories to help them with their running needs.

We are looking for managers that are also passionate about developing our greatest asset - our people!

Job Details

• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Hire, train, develop and lead a team of store associates to provide the best customer experience and be a brand ambassador.
• Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff.
• Respond to customer suggestions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
• Report writing, managing payroll and scheduling.
• Ability to manage and work on the sales floor and demonstrate what great customer service looks like to staff.
• Track sales and selling rations and coach their staff to ensure proper understanding of the expectations and that they are meeting them.
• Create a fun and engaging community run club to help draw customers into the store and create strong community involvement.
• Partner with local races to help support the races and the runners.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
• Prior experience hiring, leading, and developing a team.
• Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
• Prior experience working within the local community to engage shoppers, create excitement, and provides the customers with an elevated experience that keeps them coming back.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good financial acumen.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.
• Prior experience working with scheduling and POS systems beneficial.
• Experience with store grand openings preferred.
