Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with guest inquiries. Responsibilities: - Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor - Manage the flow of guests by coordinating seating arrangements - Assist in taking reservations and maintaining the reservation system - Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list - Answer guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station - Assist in setting up dining areas for service - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary Requirements: - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent guest relations abilities - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
