Fishnet Recruiting is Hiring an Engineering Foreman Near Malone, NY

We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Foreman to support a well-established organization by providing top-notch maintenance and repair services at all facilities. As the Engineering Foreman, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing projects to completion. Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Ensure all facilities and correlating support systems are structurally sound, operationally efficient, well-maintained, and safe at all times
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Facilities department to maintain all facilities while meeting regulations and company expectations
  • Schedule mechanical services and operations in a timely manner
  • Administer preventative maintenance programs for all facilities
  • Inspect buildings and utility systems to determine repair or replacement needs to consistently meet the organization’s goals and commitments to safety
  • Manage the performance of emergency and routine maintenance on campus facilities

  • Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma with 10 years of progressive experience, required OR Associate’s Degree in a facilities related or tech field with 7 years of progressive experience, required OR Bachelor’s Degree in a facilities related or tech field with 5 years of progressive experience, required
  • Demonstrated experience of managing facility operations including installation, construction, and maintenance of equipment, utilities, and buildings, including control systems, required
  • Experience of the supervision of skilled trade workers, required
  • Working knowledge of the maintenance of facilities in a healthcare campus setting along with a familiarity of construction and public access requirements for the disabled, preferred
  • Experience in managing a preventative maintenance program plus business management with an emphasis on budgeting, and working with contracting agents to develop specs and bids for goods and services, preferred
