Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Social Media Specialist position. In partnership with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, this role will ensure our social media presence is up to date with all current trends and best practices. Additionally, the Social Media Specialist will conscientiously grow a social presence that aligns with our core values.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• In partnership with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, draft, curate and execute on compelling social media content for Highland/Huntington’s social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Source, ideate, and suggest many ways to promote and stretch out content.
• Capture and create content such as photos and videos.
• Monitor channels and respond to comments/questions in a timely manner.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics of social media marketing campaigns and support the development of reports to evaluate ROI and inform future campaign planning and execution.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, changing algorithms, and emerging platforms to ensure that Highland’s social media presence remains innovative and effective.
• Maintain team best practices documents, training materials, and process documentation for business partners.
• Test new designs/ideas/formats, and pivot based on performance, with a viewpoint on what designs work best on different channels.
• Implement digital media campaigns and assist with Marketing Technology campaign strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
• A minimum of two-years of related business experience in social media development, implementation, marketing and managing the strategy; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Superior attention to detail and scrupulous mindset; especially for social copywriting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize, and plan work
• Desire to learn and keep up with Digital Marketing developments and best practices.
