About the team:

FIS IST Core Product Development Team - Development of IST/Switch IST/Clearing and IST/MAS applications, running within FIS and external clients (onprem and cloud). ITS Switch is utilised for processing of Electronic Payments around the globe for major Acquirers, Banks and processors. IST/Clearing settlement of transaction to networks. IST/MAS merchant accounting and settlement of transaction with merchants.

What you will be doing:

Development and enhancement of IST Products to support new functionality

Support and maintenance of IST products for network compliance updates and client reported issues, Innovation of the IST products for cloud deployment and automation of test and deliver through CICD process.

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products

Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.

What you bring:

• Experience in C/C on Unix and Linux (4 to 12 years' experience)
• Experience in Payments Systems: IST Products Switch. Clearing, MAS
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern agile approaches to software development
• Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
• Knowledge of banking practices, regulations, and operations within assigned line(s) of business
• In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
