Job Description

About the role:
We are looking for a Director of Data & Analytics to be a key leader of the Digital Marketing team at WorldPay. This individual will work closely with other department heads within the team plus internal and external stakeholders to plan, develop, implement, govern, and optimize our Marketing data and analytics to drive measurable lead and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a proven marketing leader, with a background in managing a team of data specialists, experience creating Marketing dashboards, establishing a tracking methodology for multiple attribution models and relaying key information to stakeholders.

About the team:
The newly formed digital marketing team at Worldpay, is a global team of curious, analytical and innovative experts who are responsible for building, maintaining and leading all aspects of our Marketing team's technology, digital campaigns, channels and lead/revenue growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement a data-driven approach to marketing, leveraging analytics and insights to inform strategy and execution.
  • Build our Marketing reports tied to KPIs and bring them together across multiple dashboards for Marketing & key stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for reporting results across the marketing funnel. Continually measure critical metrics, including MQLs, SQLs, Marketing Generated Opportunities, and other pipeline metrics
  • Lead a high-performing data and analytics marketing team, providing clarity, feedback, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and operations to ensure successful execution and alignment with revenue goals.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and execution of our analytics technology stack, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and data lakes including Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Snowflake and others.
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, and campaign results, and translate results into actionable insights for the team.
  • Serve as key stakeholder and Marketing representative on Marketing wide metric & analytic initiatives.

What you will need:

  • 8 years of experience working and leading data and analytic functions in a B2B company.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, manage, and mentor direct reports and broader marketing teams to maximize their individual potential and professional growth, as well as ability to function effectively as a team.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering strong results through testing & optimization. Deep expertise in data management, creating Marketing dashboards and consistent reporting for multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical/non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning experience. Skilled and comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Ability to analyse online trends, data, and leverage site statistics and performance to influence strategy and roadmap. Strong understanding of Google Analytics
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with shifting priorities.
  • Develops strong partnerships; leads through collaboration; recognized as a team player.
  • Familiar with compliance regulations related to data privacy and marketing practices.
  • Proven experience defining KPIs and using data to identify and implement needed changes.
