About the team:

At Payrix, we built the industry's most flexible payments integration platform to seamlessly grow tomorrow's innovative SaaS platforms and marketplaces. Our platform enables B2B software companies (ISVs), apps and marketplaces to quickly enroll customers, enable secure payment processing, facilitate merchant funding, and as a whole, help them monetize the payments volume that flows through their solution. Software companies that offer invoicing solutions, ERPs, shopping carts, marketplace commerce and point-of-sale devices can now take hold of payment acceptance with our automation and platform technology.

About the role:
In this Product Management role, you’ll benefit from our heavy investment in R&D as you build and roll-out new products for the rapidly-changing fintech landscape. In order to advance the way the world pay, banks and invests, you’ll manage life-cycle planning activities for the delivery of new products and ensure changes in market and business priorities are reflected.

Payrix Product Managers partner directly with stakeholders and end users to identify problems to be solved within the product and partner daily with engineering to iteratively deliver value in the product.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will be responsible for guiding development teams utilizing Agile software development principles to create and deliver software applications that meet business, client and company goals.

  • Understands the company strategy, market, industry and client goals and applies this understanding to assigned product space to create a product strategy.

  • Articulates how their product's strategy fits into the overall company vision & strategy.

  • Sets product priorities in order to align to and deliver against established company goals.

  • Independently creates and manages the product backlog of user stories for assigned product.

  • Establishes user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Product teams.

  • Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.

What you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex technical detail and also aggregate key points in a direct, impactful manner for non-technical and executive audiences.

  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.

  • At least 2 years of product-related experience with SaaS products or software applications.

  • Ability to drive teams and initiatives with minimal oversight.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving elements of the product development lifecycle (e.g., product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, product launch, etc.).

  • A positive and tenacious attitude with a laser focus on creating solutions, driving value, and thriving in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Strong negotiation, organization, analytical, collaboration and people skills.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of payments industry.

  • Advanced presentation skills, comfortable presenting to customers and internal teams and public (external) audiences via webinars and/or conference presentations.

  • Firm understanding of APIs and how they work within applications.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
