Firstrade Securities Inc., a leading online brokerage firm located in Queens, NY is looking to add a self-motivated and efficient candidate to our New Account Department. Responsibilities:

• Collect and review all new accounts applications for different types of account
• Review supporting documentation for completeness and consistency with the information indicated on the account application
• Investigate applications with required information and documents
• Review all conditions of the application approval and ensure all conditions are satisfied before submitting the application to the appropriate departments
• Handle account-related changes, and updates. This may include address changes, beneficiary updates, and account status inquiries.
• Be able to communicate with walk-in customers and reach out to customers on phone
• Maintain accuracy of the company’s database by reviewing and updating customer’s information as it is received
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Proficient in English
• Prefer candidates who are proficient in Chinese
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Great multi-task and time management towards deadlines
• Details oriented
• Ability to prioritize
