FirstLight of Livonia is hiring a care coordinator immediately! What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone to do the following:

• Recruit top of the line, exceptional, motivated caregivers to join our team.
• Train caregivers one on one as they enter the field to ensure they understand expectations for each client.
• Schedule the caregivers for their shifts based on caregiver skill sets and client needs.
• Manage the office in Livonia
• Fill shifts as needed if other caregivers are not available.
• Represent the FirstLight brand by being passionate about being sure our clients are well taken care.

Care Coordinator responsibilities include:

• This position is for our new Livonia territory, covering Livonia, to Farmington Hills to Westland and the surrounding areas. Initially you will be focused on recruiting, scheduling, and care coordination.
• Answer incoming calls and perform intakes
• Visit prospective clients to introduce FirstLight Home Care and help perform intakes
• Perform initial and ongoing in-home evaluations, caregiver introductions and supervision of services
• Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client's needs
• Initiate the hiring process for caregivers, including processing applications, background screening, interviewing, and reference validation.
• Report changes in client condition to agency employees involved in client's care
• Work shifts as needed to ensure our clients receive care
• Supervises caregivers and completes performance appraisals for caregivers at specific intervals. Responsible for employment decisions including hiring and termination
