Firstech is a privately held family-owned business with 85 employees between our headquarters in Kent, WA and logistics facility in Flower Mound, TX. For 25 years, Firstech has been a premier supplier to the aftermarket automotive industry including Best Buy and Car Toys.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining real time accounting with SAP Business One.
• Train and lead two staff accountants.
• Oversee federal and state compliance.
• Monitor and implement various internal controls.
• Reconcile general ledgers and post journal entries.
• Reconcile inter-company accounts and post eliminating journal entries
• Verify and analyze business records, transactions, inventories, and procedures for receivables and payables.
• Payroll is contracted out through BambooHR.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts and balance sheets.
• Prepare audit schedules and filing sales/use tax forms in multi-state environments.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling items.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately.
• Assist with preparing of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.

Requirements

• CPA required.
• 5 years of accounting experience as a financial controller.
• 3 years of day-to-day ERP accounting experience. High proficiency in ERP accounting.
• 1 years experience using SAP Business One (or equivalent accounting program)
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
