First Western is seeking an Loan Associate to join our team!

As a Loan Associate at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Denver team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides administrative support to Relationship Banker by coordinating loan application, progression through approval, and closings.
  • Responsible for the general administration and maintenance of the loan portfolio, including assistance in loan renewals and extensions and completing annual loan reviews.
  • Monitors past due report, maturing loans, file exceptions, and covenants requirements.
  • Assist with loan closing documentation, client packets, sales presentations, and onboarding of clients.
  • Assists clients with day-to-day customer service requests including general account inquiries, loan advances, and payments requests.
  • Connects with team members across multiple departments, specifically private banking, loan operations, credit, and compliance.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through contact, maintenance of the relationship, and identifying other potential bank products to help solve client needs.
  • Support loan product strategies and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Assist with new associate training and onboarding as requested.

What You Bring:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
  • Experience working with banking and credit software
  • Experience with CRM preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-through
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience working with high net-worth individuals
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Self-starter
  • Provide highest level of client service and follow-through
  • Connects with clients regularly to determine their needs
