Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is Hiring a People Operations/HR Manager -Hybrid Near Villanova, PA

Description:

This position is currently hybrid, working remotely but within driving distance to our National Headquarters in Villanova, PA.

In this role, you will collaborate with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:

Devereuxs DESS People Operations/Human Resources Department responsibilities include:

  • Lead all aspects of the DESS People Operations department administration, participation in the development, planning and implementation of PO policies, procedures and programs. Confers with National People Operations and appropriate staff as needed. Identifies and utilizes Best Practices in all areas of People Operations.
  • Identify, recommend, guide and / or implement organizational efforts to ensure compliance with federal, state and licensing agency regulations as well as school-based regulations. Maintain personnel records to ensure compliance with DESS and Devereux regulatory mandates.
  • Oversee employee recruiting and hiring practices necessary to recruit and hire a high-quality workforce. Ensure employee hiring and internal processes are followed in areas of employee recruitment and retention, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, performance management, employee safety and workers compensation. Conducts new employee orientation and any other trainings as required.
  • Develop and implement retentions strategies. Represent DESS through participation in Diversity and Retention Committees and community/civic activities and meetings.
  • Lead and consult on salary administration and recommend appropriate salary actions. Confer with National People Operations to ensure FLSA and Devereux requirements and practices. Manages and analyzes costing data in the People Operations Management Systems.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Servant Leadership and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and belonging through continuous development, modeling, inclusive behaviors and proactive education to employees.

Salary Range , based on experience: $47,000-$80,000

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in People Operations/Human Resources or related field; HR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of Three (3) to Five (5) years People Operations/Human Resources experience -preferred experience in an education setting; People Operations Generalist/Management experience preferred with a broad-based knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulatory requirements in areas included but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, ERISA and OSHA as well as school-based regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of People Operations/HR/Payroll Information Systems and the use of standard technology and programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) as well as the ability to grasp and apply new ideas and technologies and quickly learn and utilize complex and novel programs and applications.
  • Must have superior oral and written communication, analytical, customer service and organizational skills and an ability to function independently.
  • Requires flexibility and an ability to adapt to the demands of rapidly changing priorities. Must demonstrate use of sound judgement and be able to make quick and accurate decisions independently.
