First Vision Healthcare is Hiring a Direct Support Professional (Dsp) Near Ankeny, IA
First Vision Healthcare in Ankeny, Iowa are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated and growing team. Our ideal candidate is caring, a team player, punctual, organized, detailed orientated, has effective communication skills, respectful and dedicated.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a 24 hour supported community living site in Ankeny, Iowa. Assisting individuals with activities of daily living; including hygiene, dressing, showering, preparing meals, feeding, passing medications, transportation, engaging in community activities and documentation as well as assigned duties will be performed on a daily basis. The below listed preferred attributes are a plus. If they are not held, they must be agreed to be completed if offered employment. Every other weekend is currently mandatory for this position. Available shifts: AM shift (7:00AM-3:00PM) PM shift (3:00PM-11:00PM)
Qualifications
Experience:
- *Caregiving: 1 year (preferred) *License/Certification: *High school diploma or equivalent (required) *Driver's License (preferred) *CPR Certification (preferred) *Medication Manager (preferred) *Adult Mandatory Reporter (preferred)
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00/hour.
