Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Minister of Youth. In this position, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting junior and senior high students in their spiritual journey. You will have the opportunity to work with volunteers to make a positive impact on their lives by providing faith, fun, and friendship.

Duties:

• Coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers to conduct the duties listed below.
• Lead an engaging and relevant devotional, as well as a fun game on Sunday mornings.
• Plan and lead outings focused on fun and friendship every two months (put-put golf, escape room, concert, etc.)
• Plan and lead a monthly gathering on Sunday night with food, games, Bible study, and discussion.
• Help teach a confirmation class every two years with provided curriculum.

Experience:

• Dedicated Christian who feels called to work with youth.
• Previous experience working with youth in a ministry or similar setting (volunteer work included)
• Can easily relate to and connect with teens.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively educate and mentor youth members
• Experience in conflict management and crisis intervention
• Familiarity with bereavement support is a plus
