SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Technology Product Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of data center and cloud infrastructure projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data center and cloud technologies, along with exceptional project management and leadership skills. As the Technology Product Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure the seamless delivery of data center and cloud initiatives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Lead and manage end-to-end data center and cloud infrastructure projects, including planning, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria, aligning them with overall business goals and priorities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure project progress and completion within defined parameters.
• Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues and obstacles to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather project requirements and translate them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors or partners to ensure alignment and visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on project status, key metrics, and performance indicators, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the data center and cloud teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data center and cloud infrastructure, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and improvements in our infrastructure capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline data center and cloud operations, implementing process improvements and automation where possible.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Technology Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar role, with a focus on data center and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, cloud platforms (Azure), and associated infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage, networking).
• Relevant certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications, are highly desirable.

Technical/Functional Competencies

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards related to data centers and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Prior financial services experience preferred but not required.
• The ability to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
• The desire and ability to work hybrid 3/2 in McKinney TX.
