The First Tennessee Development District Area Agency on Aging & Disability is accepting applications for a part time Public Conservator Support Assistant (20 hours per week). Duties include making monthly visits to clients who reside in long-term care facilities, shopping for clients on an as needed basis, compiling data and completing reports in a timely manner, keeping current information on each client with updates as needed, recruiting, training and maintaining volunteers for the program. Two years of college or two years of work experience in aging, social services or related fields required. Two years working experience in a professional office environment preferred. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of personal computers and appropriate software, particularly in Microsoft Office. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess good organizational and record keeping abilities. Experience in bookkeeping is beneficial. Rate of pay is $19.94 per hour.
