Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:

- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote learning and growth

- Create a safe and clean environment for children

- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management techniques

- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up

- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed

- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions

- Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities, including meals, naps, and milestones

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting or similar environment

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

- Familiarity with childhood development stages and milestones

- Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children

- First Aid/CPR certification is required once employeed

Skills:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

- Ability to manage challenging behaviors in a positive manner

- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development

- Experience in infant care, toddler care, or classroom settings is a plus

Pay: $10.75 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
