LHH is Hiring a Buyer/Planner Near Boulder, CO
Responsibilities
- Analyze demand and supply trends and forecast inventory needs for assigned product categories.
- Negotiate and execute purchase orders with suppliers and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and quality and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, production, and engineering, to understand and meet their requirements and expectations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and inventory optimization.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of purchasing and planning activities and transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. APICS certification is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in procurement, inventory management, forecasting, and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and data-driven skills, with the ability to use various tools and systems, such as ERP, MRP, Excel, etc.
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
