Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate construction costs for a range of commercial projects
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database
  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute project costs
  • Prepare detailed reports and bids for submission to clients and stakeholders
  • Develop thorough proposals with clear information and cost breakdowns
  • Manage multiple estimation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
  • Provide efficient and helpful responses to customer inquiries throughout the bidding process
  • Collaborate with Senior Estimators to review project specifications and drawings

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, On Screen Takeoff, and Estimating Software (e.g., Plan Swift)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating
  • A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is advantageous
  • Adaptability to work both in-office and in the field within a fast-paced environment
