Description

Function: Leads the technology team by providing strong leadership, fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment. Oversees the bank’s complete Information Technology and information systems, encompassing hardware, network, and telecommunication systems. Provides guidance and support in the training and advancement of core and complementary systems such as Silverlake/Xperience/Teller, Synapsys, Doc Imaging, and other relevant systems. Directs the administration of the bank's systems and oversees the Help Desk operations, including analyzing trends and escalating issues to Jack Henry or other support vendors. Plays a pivotal role in driving projects, policies, and procedures related to information systems and technology. 

Duties:

• Oversee the proper administration of major software applications, including core systems, branch automation, workflow, intranet, report writing, document imaging, CRM, and check processing systems.
• Manage the bank's wide area and local networks, overseeing interactions with telecom providers, network service providers, and other critical vendors.
• Assist in researching and deploying new or updated systems.
• Supervise Senior Network Administrators, Application Specialists, and IT Technicians: 
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify strengths and areas for development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them grow both professionally and personally.
• Promote knowledge sharing and skills development among team members.
• Maintain updated and accurate departmental policies and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence, including user maintenance protocols and change control procedures.
• Coordinate and assist in testing for annual releases, system upgrades, application enhancements, and disaster recovery events.
• Collaborate with the company's Project Management Officer to manage, track, and execute any IT-related company projects.
• Manage the bank's Help Desk system, ensuring end-user usability, proper ticket routing, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Work with the Information and Cyber Security Analyst to ensure all systems designed to protect the company's information security assets are functioning as expected. This includes reviewing reports, addressing findings from security assessments, and responding to anomalies.
• Manage Firewall operations and assist in troubleshooting.
• Manage IT assets, including maintaining proper inventory.
• Execute strategic plans for technology maintenance, improvements, and upgrades.
• Review periodic reports from core, HNS, and other systems to ensure proper operations.
• Perform other duties requested.

Requirements

 EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of banking financial systems, internet/intranet sites and software

• Knowledge of Cisco VOIP and Telepresence a plus• Knowledge of networking and network protocols

• College degree or 5 years of related technical experience 
• Project management experience.
• Technical writing, communication, training and presentation experience
• Proven problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to work with little or no direct supervision.
• Proven ability in personal time management.
• Must have good organizational skills.
