Loan Servicer
Come join the 1N team! First National Bank LI, is seeking an experienced professional to join our growing Loan Operations team working in Servicing in Melville.
Successful candidates will service Residential / Commercial Mortgages and Home Equity lines / loans, Consumer and Commercial loans and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities include:
Processing loan payments, taxes and escrow.
Researching and responding to loan inquiries from customers and Bank staff.
Providing support to loan originations through quality control review of loan information in Signature, as well as loan documents.
Complete all loan servicing tasks required, which includes loan satisfaction, loan related Nautilus workflows, posting Visa payments.
Successfully managing multiple files and meeting deadlines.
Contributing to departmental projects to improve loan servicing.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of prior banking experience servicing residential and commercial loan products.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements from application through closing.
Ability to effectively manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time frames.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; prior experience working with loan data base system preferred.
