SUMMARY The Product Manager II will work in collaboration with the Product Management team in the ongoing development, implementation and management of bank products. The Product Manager II will oversee all aspects of product lifecycle management, from idea generation to implementation and sunset for a defined product set. The Product Manager II will provide assistance in support of the daily functions of the Product Department including project leadership, developing product materials and tools, conducting product research and analysis with focus on short-term execution and long-term strategy, vision, growth, and end-to-end user experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned. Manages the development of the assigned product roadmap, in alignment with the bank’s annual operating plan and strategic initiatives. Partner with business units and key vendors to keep bank’s product set ahead of changing landscape. Creates and manages project plans and business cases including scoping the project, identifying key dependencies, vendors and systems, performing product analysis, financial review and assessments. Facilitate product compliance requirements including monitoring regulatory changes, risk management and reputational risk of product line. Maintain current knowledge of industry regulatory and compliance requirements. Develop business requirements for products sourced through vendor relationships. Responsible for evaluating and enhancing actively sold and serviced products, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancements, tracking profitability, and managing changes to assigned products. This includes evaluating the impact of regulatory changes, risk assessments, incorporating Bank initiatives, and customer needs analysis on new and/or enhanced products and services. Utilizes customer feedback, customer and industry surveys, employee input and analysis of competitive products and services. Develop a deep expertise in all assigned products and services. Maintain content of product grids, fee schedules, rate sheets, disclosures, and other product related materials to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance. Create product materials and tools for training use and spearhead communications regarding product updates, launches, campaigns or procedural changes. Act as the subject matter expert and provide responsive assistance to branches, client support and other departments company-wide for product related support and solutions. Evaluate product data sets and reports and communicate results and recommendations to product managers. Assist with promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing to prepare campaign material, order collateral materials, track results and coordinate with branches, sales and delivery. Proactively monitor the marketplace to identify product trends, risks and opportunities and report these finds as needed. A.) from a four-year college or university and five or more years related industry experience and/or training. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to influence at a senior manager level and drive efficiencies for results. Excellent written, verbal/nonverbal and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work across all levels of the organization and speak in front of large groups. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,368 to $124,357 per year in WA and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash bonuses.
