Summary
Position the company as a community leader while developing and managing commercial banking, private banking, and business development of a designated market. May also manage retail segment in certain markets in alignment with market strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include
  • Manages commercial, private banking, and business banking teams in the respective market
  • Manages partnerships, revenue generation activities across product lines, and leads business development efforts in the market
  • Engages appropriate product partners to capitalize on opportunities for current and prospective clients
  • Drives asset quality standards within the market
  • Recruits leading talent for all lines of business in market
  • Develops policies, objectives, initiatives, and budget for the market to ensure the market meets its sales and service goals and responds to economic conditions
  • In selected markets - effectively communicates retail plans, objectives, and strategy with Retail Market Manager and/ or Retail Banking Executive to drive execution
  • Coordinates communication and reporting activities between divisions, departments, and branch offices to ensure availability of data required for efficient daily operations
  • All other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications Include
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college and 15 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
