First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Mortgage Service Center team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of mortgage loan servicing activities, including:

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.92 - $24.81/hr; commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience required.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in mortgage banking/mortgage servicing, or related experience required.
• Good understanding of mortgage loan terms, documents, and loan programs such as Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration and Conventional loan programs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicates with customers to resolve inquiries.
• Able to understand complex legal documents, regulatory requirements, investor requirements and Bank policies.
• Must possess analytical skills to research, resolve and communicate issues with customers, lending and origination staff, and management.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
• Self-starter and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
