Location : Amity, OR

Weekly Hours : Full Time - 40 - No Weekends!

Position Summary : Tellers are direct customer service positions responsible for providing our customers with an exceptional banking experience through the relationships we build, the services and products we provide, and the professional image we portray.

Essential Functions :

  • Performance routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, fund transfers, and check cashing
  • Sells cashier's checks
  • Accept requests for stop payments and wire transfers
  • Identify and offer relevant banking services and products to our customers
  • Maintain the safety and confidentiality of customer information.
  • Read and retain a large volume of information, follow all standard operating procedures and accept direction
  • Effectively operate basic banking technologies such as personal computer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine, 10-Key, etc.
  • Accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Qualified Applicants may be asked to intermittently fill in at other First Federal locations, including McMinnville, Carlton, Newberg and Sheridan locations as needed to fill staffing needs.

A high level of flexibility is required.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 6 months of cash handling and / or customer service experience required
  • Basic Math-add, subtract, divide, multiply, fractions, and percentages

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to clearly speak, hear, see and communicate with our customers
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to four hours at a time
  • Ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement
  • Ability to regularly kneel / reach / bend / push / pull / carry coin bags up to 25 pounds

Pre-Employment Requirements : The position for which you are applying is one that will have access to cash, financial instruments, financial transactions or confidential customer financial information.

As a result the following pre-employment screens are required.

  • Pre-employment drug screen (excluding Marijuana)
  • Consumer credit report
  • Criminal Background Screen
