First Federal Bank of Louisiana is currently seeking a Sales Associate in the Investments Department. The position will be housed at our Nelson Branch in Lake Charles, LA.

Summary

Provides assistance in the administration of accounts related to investment sales, and acts as a receptionist for the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assists the Investment Executive in day-to-day brokerage activities
• Assists Investment Administration with the scheduling and preparation of customer seminars, customer appreciation meetings, educational seminars/trainings and employee referral programs
• Assists the Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction, Investment Executives, Program Administration, other program staff, other Bank personnel, and clients
• Maintains inventory of office supplies and marketing materials
• Assists with trades
• Follows up with clients to verify receipt of product prospectus and new account disclosures
• Processes office paperwork; maintains office spreadsheets; scans file documents into computer system and Cetera imaging system; maintains records of transactions processed
• Checks and responds to voicemail and email daily; handles incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Maintains required compliance items 
• Manages and maintains client contact management system
• Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.

Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college, business or technical school OR a combination of two (2) years of financial advisement related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of both.
