This is not a time share sale position!!
Position is salary with bonus and excellent travel benefits.

Job Requirements

One year recent travel agency experience preferred.

Applicants with extensive sales experience, personal Caribbean travel background or travel school degree will be considered.

Job Description

Sells Domestic and International travel and fulfills related planning for airline, hotel, and car rentals to result in the best travel and honeymoon planning for our clients. Candidate needs to be knowledgeable in domestic and international travel planning and provide strong customer service, professional, timely communication of the travel related information to include closing the sale and creating documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include

• Make international reservations for air travel, hotel and car rentals, following up when necessary to complete the reservation.
• Plans and Sell domestic and international travel using established systems and quotes.
• Maintains and promotes professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications
• Informed and up to date on all current affairs, promotions, rules and regulations of airfare and communicates and plans appropriately
• Maintains strong quality standards and top productivity goals
• Maintains customer profiles to include requests, frequent flyer and other necessary details
• Informed and properly uses terminology, codes, airline rules, resources and industry contacts
• Performs assigned tasks and all duties essential to the job that may not be outlined herein

• Knowledge of domestic/international travel and vacation/event planning

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• 2 years of active travel sales experience in the past 5 years.
• Minimum of 1-2 years international experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the travel industry, both domestic and international
• Strong, proven sales abilities
• Professional customer service skills
• Achieves established sales goals with accuracy
• Demonstrated internet research skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
• Flexibility
• Ability to multi task
