FIRST DAKOTA NATIONAL BANK is Hiring a Cash Management / Business Relationship Specialist Near Sioux Falls, SD

Cash Management / Business Relationship Specialist
This position is responsible for customer relationship service and development focused on Cash Management and Business Banking related products. This position is located at our Sioux Falls East branch, hours include Monday-Friday 8-5.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Develops and maintains strong knowledge of the Cash Management and Business Banking products, and their corresponding web-based and other internal systems.
  • Establishes & Supports Cash Management, Business Banking and Digital Banking customers.
  • Assists Business Banking Development Officers in meeting customer service and relationship needs.
  • Develops an understanding of and assists with Business Banking customer analysis as well as approval processes and documents.
  • Conducts customer and prospect needs analysis and develop proposed service solutions/sales presentations to assist businesses and organizations to make efficient use of cash.
  • Works with Supervisors in developing sales strategies to increase the sale and use of cash management products and services for the designated customer and prospect base.
  • Calls and visits target customers to promote and sell established Cash Management and Business Banking products and services.
  • Synchronize sales efforts with relationship officers, business/ag bankers, universal bankers and other CM team members in order to acquire new business and fortify existing client relationships.
  • Assists internal staff with their sales efforts to educate & inform customers about the benefits of our Cash Management, Business Banking & Digital Banking products & services.
  • Recommends changes and additions to Cash Management, Business Banking, & Digital Banking products & services to ensure customer satisfaction and bank product profitability.
  • Generates and screens leads following established policies and procedures to attain new business relationships and product sales.
  • Promotes and cross-sells other established bank products and services as appropriate to customers.
  • Assists with the review, monitoring and mitigation of risks to minimize losses to the Bank
  • Assists with customer education and marketing of Cash Management, Business Banking & Digital Banking products/services to increase usage and adoption rates.
  • Assists with special projects for Cash Management and Sioux Falls Market.
  • Actively utilizes and understands technology & devices related to Digital Banking services
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Math Ability:
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability:
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills:
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Design software; Internet software and Database software; and usage of mobile/Digital Banking technologies and devices.
