We are currently seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Concrete Cutting Sales Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities, estimating project costs, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have concrete cutting experience and a proven track record in sales, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions to our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business by actively engaging and maintaining relationships with current customers
• Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to become a trusted sub
• Identify and bid projects to new/potential customers
• Accurately estimate project costs, needs and timelines
• Prepare detailed proposals and bids outlining project scopes, timelines, and pricing structures.
• Actively manage job scheduling and subcontractor coordination and ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted, as required.
• Attend pre construction meetings and pre-bid job walks
• Work closely with our operators and subs to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Ensure successful completion of job requirements
• Perform bi-monthly billing (billing is sent out on the 15th and at the end of each month)
• Ensure timely payment of invoicing
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
• Obtain/deliver project supplies, coordinate required project approvals, attend job meetings, track change orders and other duties as requested
• Training of operators as needed/requested
• Occasional performance of operator job duties as needed/requested

Qualifications

• Solid experience in sales, preferably within the construction or concrete cutting industry, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete cutting techniques, core drilling, sawing, and breaking equipment, and safety regulations.
• Experience as a saw operator and/or core driller
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating project costs and timelines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Cost Management, Construction Estimating, and Project Estimation skills
• Budgeting and Communication skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
