Trust Operations Associate

What You'll Be Doing

  • Receive payments and verify amounts against supporting maps and reports.
  • Prepare daily worksheets with batch totals and balance cash against report.
  • Generate and distribute trust checks.
  • Make daily deposits for client accounts.
  • Compile, organize, and calculate daily trust activity for processing.
  • Collect income receipts including interest, dividends, rents, royalties, annuities, etc.
  • Setup and maintain client accounts, assets, and name and address records.
  • Prepare, review, and complete routine client documents including letters, memos, and reports.
  • Maintain files for the trust operations department.

Who You Are

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Background knowledge in fiduciary and financial accounting, taxes and investments, and / or trust / estate regulations preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Customer service skills including actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues / needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Credit and criminal history verification will be required of all applicants.
