Role and Responsibilities

• Work with Licensing Manager to obtain and maintain full compliance with all state and federal licensing requirements.
• Must be able to perform a baseline audit of current license status
• Complete desired license (lender and servicer) applications in pending states to obtain desired approval(s).
• Manage a proactive process to meet all filing and documentary deadlines for each licensing/exempting entity.
• Track recurring license status and risk reports
• Monitor company NMLS as primary point of contact.
• Interpret NMLS status updates and requests for Operations, Risk, Production and HR leadership teams.
• Perform required audits to LOS database and applicable LOS activity reports to ensure compliance to licensing standards and enterprise policy/procedures.
• Work with Analyst to maintain current database of related/required documents in support of state licensing and counter-party lender approval.
• Monitor all state and federal regulatory licensing laws and report necessary actionable items to Licensing Manager.
• Problem solving skills are required as well as working within special project teams.
• Be able to partner with various vendors to leverage resources and knowledge sharing.
• Support Compliance and Operations team?s relationship and communication with FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, HUD, USDA and VA.
• Must maintain a relationship with First Community Bank, the parent company of FCM as well as the Board of Directors regarding licensing requirements.
• Communicate with transparency company/branch licensing status at all times
• Work with in-house counsel on licensing issues such as setting up new branches.
• Assist with other related business projects as necessary.
• Must have proven analytical and decision-making skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be flexible in an environment that is fast-paced.
• Must be a team player and be willing to constructively contribute to the department.
• Must be trustworthy and have a strong work ethic especially working in a remote position.
• Any other duties as required by business needs.
