Alliant Insurance is hiring a Sales Support Specialist at Medigap Life! Founded in 2017, Medigap Life is a highly successful call center serving thousands of customers in all 50 states with affordable Medicare health insurance plans. We have grown tremendously housing offices in Florida, North Carolina, and New York and employing over 130 employees. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Our Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing sales support to the organization for Medicare Products. Monitor, motivate, and train licensed agents to ensure quality of sales in order to achieve individual and company goals. Full-time, benefits-eligibleOnsite at 13925 Ballantyne Corporate Pl., Charlotte, NC 28277Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM - 3:30 PMCompensation package is a combination of salary plus performance bonuses RESPONSIBILITIES: Increase the overall sales of Medicare products and ancillary products by educating agents on the overarching concepts and nuances of these products and how they fit into the overall structure of an individual’s portfolio.The education consists of monitoring calls, one one-on-one agent education, and monitoring sales activities.Act as subject matter expert on products, and systems, and troubleshoot and resolve issues.Ensure agents are following best practices and quality assurance guidelines.Sell Medicare products and act as an example for other agents by engaging in sales activities for a minimum of 4.5 hours per week.Direct supervision of designated marketing consultants and/or agents.Supervisory responsibilities include hiring/terminating, disciplinary actions, assigning/checking work, planning/appraising job performance measurements, performance reviews, compensation recommendations, new hire orientation, and training.Enforce policies, procedures, and best practices.Monitor performance against goals.Adhere to the policies and procedures of the organization and insurance companies.Presentations at appropriate meetings to include ongoing initiatives as well as future plans to be implemented, accurate reporting, reviewing objectives, reviewing progress, identifying needs or areas for improvement, and action plans for correction.Work collaboratively with fellow and senior staff to advance the values and mission of the organization by participating in and attending appropriate management and administration meetings.Assists with special projects/assignments as requested by members of management.Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local laws, wherein the Company operates. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, or GED requiredAssociates degree preferred Licensed Medicare Agent in good standing required Minimum of two (2) years as a successful Medicare sales producerMinimum of one (1) year of leadership experience in any industry PERKS AND BENEFITS:Health Insurance*Dental and vision insurance*401(k) with company match*Paid time offStable, friendly and professional environment that does not micromanage your work but rather rewards innovation*Available the first of the month following date of hireEqual Opportunity Employer; SMS participates in the E-Verify system #LI-DR2
