Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Loan Coordinator. As a Loan Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the loan origination process and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in processing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation
- Review loan files for completeness and accuracy
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower's financial standing
- Ensure compliance with FNMA, TILA, and Fair Housing regulations
- Perform basic math calculations to verify loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment terms
- Input data into loan origination system using 10 key typing skills
- Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the loan process to provide updates and answer questions
- Maintain organized loan files and documentation

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or mortgage industry is preferred
- Knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review credit reports and financial statements
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
