First Choice Senior Care is Hiring a Director of Sales and Marketing Near Little Rock, AR

.DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Reports To: President and CEO

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Sales and Marketing (“DSM”) is responsible for overseeing the planning,

development, and execution of First Choice Senior Care’s sales and marketing for the

promotion of companionship and home care services. The DSM’s primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, in-person sales and marketing contacts and presentations, and public relations. The DSM is expected to work on a self-directed basis to achieve organization goals and be able to undertake considerable responsibility with regard to general assignments in accuracy, planning time, method, manner, and/or sequence of performance of his or her own work. Core duties and responsibilities include:

1. Developing and overseeing an annual program to promote First Choice Senior Care services within our community.

2. Researching and pursuing new referral sources to enhance and maintain existing referral

sources of First Choice Senior Care.

3. Developing and executing a sales call plan that generates the appropriate number of

admissions.

4. Making contact with all referral partners in person according to established goals and

benchmarks. This would include calls, informational calls, one-on-one meetings, and/or

group presentations to educate and inform them on available services.

5. Following up on all referral partner contacts and appropriately following through with

contact initiatives.

6. Researching, scheduling, and successfully executing regular community marketing events, such as attending health fairs and expos, to promote FCSC and our services.

7. Making impactful presentations to groups and individuals in a variety of community and

healthcare settings to promote FCSC services.

8. Participating in caregiver meetings, performing client assessments, and enrolling new

clients.

9. Entering and maintaining all activity performed in the software system for effective tracking of referral sources and service inquiries.

10. Developing and accurately forecasting the marketing budget, which includes both

networking and promotional expenses.

11. Participating in the Annual Operational Plan.

12. Achieving the Annual Operational Plan’s revenue, gross profit, and profitability objectives.

13. Coordinating with the communications department for development of all public-facing

collateral materials, advertising placement, news releases, and adherence to all brand

standards established by the Director of Communications.

14. Demonstrating open and effective communication with colleagues and caregivers.

15. Maintaining regular attendance to execute job responsibilities.

16. Conducting service calls, client and caregiver introductions, and quality assurance visits with clients, as needed.

17. Rotating call after business hours.

18. Collaborating with the office manager to resolve concerns or issues with care including

meeting with caregivers, clients and clients’ families.

19. Completing other duties as assigned by his or her supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Most work will be performed in the field, making in-person calls to referral sources, giving presentations on FCSC services, and conducting client assessments and enrollments. Frequent travel within the service area will be expected. May be required to drive to and from client locations and sit for long periods of time. Some office work will be required to document contacts, prepare reports and sales plans, and provide back-up to selected office functions.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER DEMANDS

1. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; stand for lengthy periods of time; speak clearly and understandably; operate electronic communication devices including cellphone, laptop and tablet; and carry marketing materials including brochures, displays, and other items instrumental in the conducting of marketing events.

2. Must have valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, personal vehicle, and ability to travel between locations and work flexible hours.

3. Must be able to rotate call after business hours. Must carry company-provided cell phone and tablet when on call.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. High school diploma and 2-year degree minimum in marketing or health care-related field.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or health care preferred.

2. Three (3) years of prior successful and demonstrated sales and marketing experience that includes marketing to the elder care population or an allied setting.
