Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced DOT/Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods, materials, and passengers in accordance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles, including trucks and buses, to transport cargo to designated locations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies while operating vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers.
• Follow established routes and schedules, or adjust routes as necessary to accommodate changing conditions or customer requests.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times, providing assistance as needed.
• You will work 4-5 days per week and 8-10 hours per day, including weekends (Saturday or Sunday). We start at 4:15 am to be a part of a team delivering in a predetermined geographical area, providing hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License.
• Must have a clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations.
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50-500 lbs., with reasonable accommodation. Each driver has a helper to assist with deliveries.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
