First Chance Center is Hiring an Employment Specialist Near Paoli, IN

The mission of First Chance Center is to promote abilities and provide opportunities for persons with disabilities or other barriers to fully participate in their community.

Assist in developing relationships with local employers; providing education regarding our community employment services and awareness of tax credit incentives, job modifications, implication of the Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.

With client, develop and implement employment support plans.

Provide assessment, job development, on-site support and coaching as needed.

Build natural supports in the workplace for clients to ensure successful long term placements

Advocate for and pursue services as appropriate to meet the needs of the individual served.

Attends team meetings for persons served

Provide transportation to the work site when necessary.

With Program Coordinator, maintain and develop employment records for clients (this includes paper and electronic records).

Monitor and document the individual’s progress toward their identified goals.

Compile data necessary for billing by using outlined internal billing practices and online service portals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
