OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - WATERFORD OFFICE
Loan Operation Specialist performs a variety of routine and non-routine operational duties and providessupportinoperations andadministrativedepartmental activities.Thisincludesperforming the operationaltasksincludingbutnotlimitedtocustomerserviceconducting dailydataintegrityandinput. The Loan Operations Specialist projects a professional image through phone interaction, demonstrating deep knowledge ofresidential, multifamily, commercial realestateloans, linesofcredit secured by realestate collateral, commercial/ business loans, installment consumer loans.
EssentialResponsibilities:
•Ensure quality service in calls managementare maintained below or under 10% abandonedrate andprovide both internal and external customers with adequate service
•Assistbyorganizingand/orprocessingthedailyactivitiesforloanservicingtothecoreloan system, including:
(1)resolvingloanexceptions,
(2)taxandinsurancemonitoringorprocessingtoincludeescrowset-up,analysisanddata remittance to 3rd party vendors, and
(3)ratechangesandaccrualadjustments
(4)Requestinginsurancepolicycoveragesfromcustomersandvendorstimely
(5)Analyzingandupdatinginsurancepoliciesaccordingtoregulatoryrequirements
(6)Dailybatchpaymentprocessing
•Handleandanalyzeclaimsandcomplaintmanagementsystemforloanservicingincluding:
(1)Conductresearchtoresolveloanrequestsandissues,
(2)Communicateswithinternalandexternalcustomerstoprovideresolution,
(3)Ensureproper analysisofrootcausesofissues identified,
(4)Maintainsupdateddashboardsforthisarea
•AssistinLoanServicinginboxmanagementandthefulfillingofloanservices dailyrequests
•Assist inTrack ItfortheLoanServicingunit
•Assist the departmentin requestingpolicies for expired insuranceon Commercial and residential loans.
•LeadinhandlingtheStalechecksduediligenceandcustomer outreach.
OtherResponsibilities:
•Supporttoother operationsareasasneeded.
•ReconciledailyandmonthlyGLReconcilement
•Performotherdutiesandprojectsasassignedordirected
•AssociatedegreeinBusiness,Accountingorrelatedispreferred.
•2yearsofback-officeexperience inbankingishighlypreferred.
•IntermediateknowledgeofMSOfficeisrequired.
•Experiencewithanyofthefollowingsoftwareispreferredbutnotrequired:Fiserv(Navigator), Encompass, Core Logic, Loreta
