This position is responsible for researching issues, analyzing data, designing & developing solutions, documentation, and supporting system environments as assigned by the department manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform development and testing of simple and complex solutions.
• Research technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Write queries, analyze, and report on data across various data sources.
• Create support, system level, and end user documentation.
• Manage assignments following the software development life cycle, change management, and ticket procedures.
• Maintain effective working relationships with data center and business representatives.
• Provide timely status updates on assigned work to project and department managers.
• Responsible for designing solutions for existing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in related field preferred.
• Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the IT industry required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply concepts quickly.
• Sharp analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in programming required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in more than one programming language.
• Competent with writing SQL queries and scripts.
• Competent with Microsoft Office developer tool products.
• Minimal travel to branches and training facilities may be necessary.
• Typical business hours are an 8 hours period between 7 AM and 6 PM Monday through Friday.
• Available for off hours support and working approximately one Saturday per month.
