What You'll Do

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who will report to the Lead andbe responsible for building scalable reliable testing functionality for new products and solutions. The Senior QA Engineer will write and execute test cases, create test automation, and run regression tests while working on these high-volume, security-intensive applications. In more detail, this involves:

• Work closely with all stakeholders to understand the requirements from a business and system perspective
• Responsible for planning, scope, milestones, and quality of work, including timely and accurate status reporting
• Responsible for ensuring software is tested and deployments are supported in line with QA processes and business requirements to a high standard
• Assist and mentor junior and regular QA Engineers on QA engineering techniques, and QA process test automation challenges. Review test cases and automation plans and provide feedback and guidance
• Develop extensive knowledge of client solutions. Update job knowledge by studying current QA tools, methodologies, and programming techniques. Participate in educational opportunities and read professional publications
• Enhance the QA team processes through knowledge shares between team members and contributions to QA improvement sessions which includes evaluating and performing proof of concepts for new tools and processes
• Assist others (incl. customers) outside of QA with UAT/ integration testing where required and ensure work is carried out to the QA standards, be that on-site or off-site

What You May Need to be Successful 

Experience/ Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5 years of experience or equivalent knowledge in software engineering and quality assurance automation
• Minimum 3 years working as a full-time automation engineer for a customer-facing high-volume SAAS platform
• Minimum 2 years working in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban preferred) as a QA Engineer
• Experience with SDLC and software testing methodologies including modern manual and automated testing techniques
• Experience with testing cloud implementations
• Demonstrated ability to apply modern software testing methodologies in a fast-paced, dynamic/agile environment
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, HTML, Java, and modern web services
• Able to work independently and collaborate with team members of both technical and non-technical disciplines
