Expectations: The role of the Showroom Sales Support has several purposes. The first is to greet all customers as they enter the store. The second is to generally see to the smooth relationship between customer and company, fielding customer questions regarding product, selections, order status, and other detailed questions. Another is to act as a conduit between customer and management aiding each as appropriate.
Major Responsibilities: These include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Create quotes for the sales staff and communicate with customers.
B. Create Retail Contracts.
C. Create Stone Bid Worksheets for stone measurements.
D. Communicate internally with Inside Operations Team for ordering and scheduling.
E. Command the showroom, organize displays, price, and label merchandise, make sure literature is stocked, and the sample boards are put away.
F. Work every Saturday, selling products and maintaining showroom.
Associated Duties: These include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Processing Sales Orders: The entry and administration of orders are the responsibility of the Inside staff.
B. General:
1. Keep the Branch Manager informed on a timely basis of anything that could affect the company’s operations and profitability.
2. Attend all meetings scheduled or requested by the Branch manager
3. Perform any other duties not specifically stated here, which the Branch Manager may assign.
4. Keep informed of any changes that may take place within the organization that may be of interest to management and/or sales in general.
