The Landing Dispensary in Huron is looking for an Inventory Specialist. Reporting to the General Manager, the Inventory Specialist updates company retail sales inventory and ecommerce software daily in compliance with all Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) regulations and maintains expertise in the utilization and functionality of METRC and all related systems used at the dispensary. In addition, the Inventory Specialist assists store guests in selecting appropriate medical or adult-use cannabis products for their specific needs.

Store hours: Monday-Saturday 10-8, Sunday 11-5. Shift may include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with the dispensary Designated Representatives to identify marketing needs and promptly deliver compliant materials for state review and approval.
• Conducting market research, analysis, and sourcing customer feedback to gain insights that help shape our product portfolio.
• Delivering results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Executing operational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and security policies within retail stores.
• Preparing and packaging orders for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and organized processing room. Maintaining facility cleanliness.
• Receiving, counting, and documenting inventory deliveries.
• Completing required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic record keeping systems.
• Adhering to distribution guidelines. Unpacking/sorting/labeling merchandise as directed.
• Merchandising, restocking, and ordering.
• Supervising Customer Experience Reps.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience including inventory experience.
• Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system in the human body.
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
