This position is responsible for producing printed materials by following printing job specifications, setting up, operating, adjusting and maintaining the printing equipment to ensure that it functions properly. The printing machine operator is to inspect and manage the printing machine to their best ability to guarantee the production of high-quality products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Printing black labels and other items necessary for completing orders

· Communicating Stock quantity to Production Manager

· Attention to detail for fulfilling hot orders

Job Duties:

· Operating 2 Edge FX Printers, Gerber envision 375 Plotter, and Laminator simultaneously

o Printing daily required materials in a productive and timely manner

o Checking labels with diagrams to ensure accuracy

o Double checking the quality of the print to meet required standards

o Moving printed material to appropriate bins for each order

· Doming - applying resin to material to create "bumps"

· Communicating material needs to supervisor

· Assisting in Production as time allows

· Other duties as assigned

· Experience with Edge FX Printer preferred, but not required

· Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

· Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately

Work & Education Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity to properly and safely manipulate tools and controls. This position requires frequent walking and standing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
