Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Noted rate of base is base hourly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Process payments accurately using the Toast POS system
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent guest service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Ability to bus tables efficiently during busy periods
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with kitchen staff and other servers
