SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead by example with next level Hospitality and Service.
• Motivate and communicate with employees to ensure a cohesive team-oriented work environment.Monitor and support operations team to ensure proper levels ofservice, hospitality and guest relations are met.
• Ensure that guests are completely satisfied with their café experience but utilizing and preparing monthly reporting oof guest experience survey results.
• Assist with all opening, operating, and closing Café functions and duties.
• Responsible for the scheduling and training of all Café Team Members for the function and operation of the Café.
• Responsible for all cash handling and daily accounting reporting.
• Responsible for the ordering and inventory of all food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure that all Café Team Members are trained, certified and follow responsible Alcohol Service pursuant to Kansas state law.
• Responsible for ensuring all food and beverage is stored and served safely and all quality standards are met.
• Continuously maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for Café team members and guests.
• Inform management promptly of all problems or significant concerns.
• Maintain and strictly abide by sanitation/health regulations as set for the by the City of Overland Park and the State of Kansas.
• Adhere to proper appearance and uniform standards.
• Adhere to all Café food standards, policies, and procedures.
• Promote proper business practices, etiquette, and ethics.
• Additional responsibilities will be added as necessary

• 2 years of Front and/or Back of the house experience in a high-volume, full-service food environment preferred but not required.
• Cannot be convicted of a felony.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly think on your feet.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative.
• Ability to enforce company’s standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work.
• Possess good communication skills to deal with staff.
• Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.
• Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self-confidence.

• Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift
