Welcome to Finnoe Design and BL Iron!

Finnoe Design is a family-based company that was founded in 2007 by Ben Finnoe as a single proprietorship providing steel detailing and design services. Today, Finnoe Design LLC, provides design, detailing and fabrication services across a broad range of steel fabrication, including miscellaneous steel, structural steel, temporary steel, and special construction.

In 2021, BL Iron was founded to specialize in miscellaneous steel detailing and fabrication. BL Iron is a woman-owned business owned and operated by Holly Finnoe.

Our vision is to become the preeminent providers of comprehensive and coordinated design and fabrication solutions by utilizing innovative tools and processes and by maximizing each employee’s potential for the benefit of the individual, our customers, and the company.

PAY BASED OFF EXPERIENCE!

PTO Policy:

Sick leave/vacation accrued at rate of 1 hr PTO/40 hrs worked!

Responsibilities:

- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying chemical solutions
- Set up and operate hand tools and power tools as required
- Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper surface preparation
- Mix and apply paint or coating materials using spray guns or other application methods
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area

Requirements:

- Must be clean shaven
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery as needed
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for surface preparation
- Basic knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
